About Fly Flipper

early vanilla clover
Fly Flipper is a feed supplement. Many people don't know that horses, like people, can suffer from a lack of nutrients. When fed daily, Fly Flipper will help you in two different ways to keep a healthy and happy horse. First, it is specially formulated with a combination of trace minerals, salt, and vitamins to give your horse a more balanced nutritional meal.

Second, when fed daily, Fly Flipper also helps control flies in your stable and pasture. Fly Flipper contains a mixture of minerals and flavorings that emits an odor, repelling flies, gnats, mosquitoes, fleas, and other sucking insects. The other fly controller in Fly Flipper is called Rabon, which is a larvicide that keeps flies from reproducing in manure. Because Fly Flipper is also a feed supplement, it will also help keep flies off your horse's face.

Fly Flipper should be fed at the rate of three ounces (0.26 grams of Rabon) per 1,000 lbs. of body weight per day, providing your horse the ratio it needs to fight flies. As a feed, Fly Flipper can be fed free choice or with food.

At the described rate, a 20 lbs. bag of Fly Flipper should last one horse 90 days! That's three months of supplement and fly control for a very economic price!

Do you know?

Studies have shown that 80% of all performance horses suffer from ulcers. One reason is the poor feeding habits of modern horses. Horses kept on pasture year round were found to have fewer problems because the digestive acids in the stomach remained at constant levels. When we put horses in stalls and turn them out in dry lots, we disrupt the natural flow of their digestion. Acid builds up in the stomach and rises above the protective lining, often resulting in a hole in the stomach or intestines. Symptoms include weight loss, stomach pain (colic), and behavior problems. A new study in English has shown that behavior problems such as wood chewing and cribbing are more prevalent in horses with ulcers. The calcium carbonate in Fly Flipper acts as an antacid to help alleviate the symptoms of ulcers.

Did you know that horses can develop a kind of diabetes called Cushings? Sweet foods, spring grass, and treats are full of sugar. By limiting these sugars and adding magnesium to your horse's diet, you may avoid bigger problems down the road. Good nutrition is the key to a healthy horse.

Many of the common health problems that face horse owners can be eliminated by proper nutrition. Colic, founder, ulcers, and Cushings are all avoidable with the proper diet of your horse.
